Viren Hindocha

Viren joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1979 and became a fellow of the Institute in 1989 and he also became a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1987.

After completing secondary education in Kenya and a year of Foundation Course at Central London Polytechnic, he entered into a 4 year training contract to study Chartered Accountancy with a seven partner firm in West End, London. To gain large firm experience, he joined Ernst & Whinney (London) in 1979 and conducted audits of some big companies such as Dunlop, BP, Lucas etc.

Having gained a wide experience in this field for 3 years, he went on to join the DHSS Special Internal Audit Division for a year to gain Public sector experience. After that he joined as a partner in the firm in 1982.

Viren handles a wide portfolio of clients, assisting companies, partnerships, sole traders and individuals with accounting and tax affairs, including doctors, dentists and other professionals.

Outside of work Viren’s interest include playing golf (watch out for the rising golf star!), hiking and trekking (has done the Mt. Kilimanjaro climb) and travelling. He is also heavily involved with charity work and has been a past President of the Lions Club of Sudbury. Being a passionate golf player he has also been the Captain of Care Golf Society.
